Moli Karsalia

Former undergraduate intern


Moli Karsalia was an undergraduate student at University of Maryland majoring in Neurobiology and Physiology and minoring in Global Poverty. She worked in the Agroecology Lab in the summer of 2015. She was part of the Honors College's Gemstone Program, Moli is a member of Team VESSEL, which researched electrospin, a small diameter vascular graft from silk fibroin in order to address issues related to cardiovascular disease. In her free time, she was a Gemstone CONNECT Mentor and volunteers at the campus Health Center and Food Recovery Network.
