Madelyn Jamsa

Undergraduate intern (Spring 2021)


Madelyn Jamsa is a junior Environmental Science and Policy major with a concentration in Wildlife Ecology and Management at the University of Maryland. She is a native Marylander and grew up thirty minutes outside of College Park, MD. Her passion for nature began at a young age when she started volunteering for the National Park Service in 2015. Since then, Madelyn has continued to advocate for environmental health and protection through her scientific endeavors. She has participated in humpback whale research and was an intern at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Madelyn is excited to be working in the Agroecology lab and is eager to learn more about sustainable agriculture and environmental health.
