Position Two: The AgroEcoLab and Wetland Ecosystems Group at Stanford University invites applications for a Post-doctoral Associate to join the Options to Adapting to Rising Seas (OARS) project. This is an opportunity to do work that matters by helping coastal forest and woodlot owners make better decisions as rising seas, saltwater intrusion, and coastal change transform the landscapes they depend on. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize quantitative economic, environmental, and social science research methods to help bridge the gap between science, practice, and policy. Your work will directly shape how coastal communities in the Mid-Atlantic plan for and adapt to climate change. Please see the full job description here.

To apply: If you are interested, please send a cover letter highlighting relevant experience and your interest in the OARS project, CV, one example of relevant scholarly writing, and contact information for three references to Dr. Kate Tully kltully@umd.edu and Dr. Elliott White Jr. eewhite@stanford.edu. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
