Madison Curtis

Undergraduate intern (Fall 2020)

Maddie Curtis is a senior majoring in bioengineering at the University of Maryland-College Park. Although she has worked in other on-campus labs, including the Biophysics Laboratory, and as an intern at a Parkinson’s Disease Movement Disorders Clinic in Austin, Texas, this is her first time working in agroecology. She is thrilled to be an intern with Dr. Tully where she will help investigate the effects of saltwater intrusion on coastal agricultural systems. Maddie hails from Annapolis, and has a passion for the outdoors and being in, on, and near the Bay. She loves this body of water so much that she owns an ex-race horse with Chesapeake in his name.
