Ana Breach

Undergraduate intern (Summer 2021)

Ana Breach is an Environmental Science and Technology major with a concentration in Natural Resources Management at the University of Maryland-College Park and is a member of the Environment Technology and Economy Scholars program. She is from Rockville, Maryland. Her interest in agriculture and ecology began with spending several summers at her grandmother's mountainous ranch in Guatemala. After interning for the UMD Office of Sustainability, she realized she wanted to combine her interests in environmental justice, sustainability, and global food systems. She hopes to do her own research in sustainable agriculture one day and contribute to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
