As we all set off for our Holiday adventures, I want to acknowledge my wonderful graduate students, Kayla Griffith, Briana Otte, and Dani Weissman. It has been a busy Fall Semester for all of us! Some highlights include: Kayla winning the Merit Fellowship from the Graduate School of Agriculture and Natural Resources; Briana's presentation at the Tri-Society Annual Meeting in Minneapolis; and Dani writing her first grant to the Maryland Grain Producers Utilization Board (not to mention learning how to navigate in the marshes - Marco? Polo!).
The Spring will bring on lots of exciting field and lab work for our new digestion system, flow injection colorimeter and atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
In the meantime, enjoy the winter break and Happy Holidays!
